Georgi Karakhanyan, Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Have Confrontation at Bellator 141 Poster Signing

Tensions were High between fight camps as Patricky and Saad Awad signed posters for This fridays #Bellator141 . Bellator World Champ Patricio Pitbull caught the eye of possíble title contender Georgi Karakanyan , They have been going back on forth on Twitter and their twitter beef carried over into Bellator check In room . Needless to say fireworks ensued. Saad step up to calm down his training partner , Patricky Pitbull got riled up. Joinha and Bellator oficials served as arbitrators . Leandro Higo as ref. Friday the cage closes on Spike TV and Pitbull and Saad will get after it at Bellator141 co-main event and Patricio Pitbull vs.Georgi will have be at a later date as he can't look past another war with former champion Daniel Strauss . Poster signings are generally a mundane part of the fight week routine, but not when Georgi Karakhanyan and Patricio Freire are in the same room.

The two featherweights, who have gone back and forth on social media in the past, engaged in a shouting match during a Bellator 141 poster signing. Eric Albaraccin, the wrestling coach of both Patricio and Patricky Freire, captured the footage on video and posted it on his Facebook page.

Karakhanyan and Patricio “Pitbull” were supposed to square off at Bellator 138, but a knee injury forced Karakhanyan to withdraw from the contest. Karakhanyan is on hand at Bellator 141 to corner Saad Awad against Patricky Freire in Friday’s co-main event at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif..

Karakhanyan will have to wait for his next chance at 145-pound gold, however, as Patricio Freireis slated to defend the belt against Daniel Straus at Bellator 145. The Millennia MMA product lost to Freire via third-round technical knockout at Bellator 37 in March 2011.
