Grispi announced the planned bout on his official Web site and Facebook page Tuesday morning.
The 13-1 resident of Plympton, Mass., is 3-0 in the WEC, with submission victories against Mark Hominick and Jens Pulver. Grispi also owns a TKO victory over Micah Miller. The 21-year-old has finished all three of his WEC opponents in the first round.
Grispi’s foil also holds a 3-0 mark with the promotion, as Davis notched hard-fought wins against Javier Vazquez, Diego Nunes and Deividas Taurosevicius. The 29-year-old native of Kansas City, Mo., holds a 16-2 professional mixed martial arts record.
The Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, will play host to the event.
