It may be time to resume the debate on facial hair in mixed martial
arts.
Paul Heyman of Heyman Hustle is reporting that UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will enter the Octagon with a full beard to take on No. 1 challenger Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Ariel Helwani of AOL Fanhouse posed the question at Wednesday’s UFC 121 pre-fight news conference, and Lesnar explained the growth to Heyman Hustle exclusively on Thursday.
“It gets cold where I hunt, and the beard helps keep my face warm,” said Lesnar. “I'm a viking, this is my beard, and after this fight, I'm-a-goin-hunting!”
