MMA Notes: Bisping, Mayhem Set

After a season of trash-talking and frat-boy pranks, things are about to get serious for “The Ultimate Fighter 14” coaches Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Michael Bisping. The rival coaches will hook up in the main event of “The Ultimate Fighter 14” Finale on Saturday at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Spike TV.
“Mayhem Miller has been in the sport for a long time,” UFC President Dana White said. “He’s trained with a lot of guys and fought the best in the world.”
Miller, who trains with Mark Munoz at Reign MMA in Lake Forest, Calif., has one fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He went the distance in a decision loss to reigning UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 52 in 2005. Miller went on to fight in promotions all over the world and he was the host of MTV’s “Bully Beatdown.”
