Moises Flores vs. Luis Cusolito

Round 1

They trade hard jabs early, with Flores doing the stalking. Flores misses an overhand right but Cusulito doesn’t make him pay. Cusulito rakes two body shots but misses his follow-up left to the head. Flores pops him with a nice jab before Cusulito ties him up. Flores clips him with a straight right through the guard. Triple jab, right to the body by the Mexican. Cusulito is backed into a corner with that flurry, but he doesn’t return the favor. Flores lands a decent right uppercut and then avoids the returning volley from the Argentinean. 10-9 Flores.

Round 2

Cusulito comes out strong with a flurry to the body, but Flores ties him up quickly. Flores pops him with a few jabs before going to the body. Cusulito misses with two wild overhand rights and it seems like he’s having some difficulty with Flores’ size and reach. Flores is tagged by a left hook as he unfurls a right cross. He takes it well and answers with a left/right to the face. Flores avoids a left hook and nails his foe with one of his own, followed by a six-punch combo. Overhand right by Flores is clean after a break, but Cusulito is cool. Flores goes to the body again before snapping off a few jabs. Good action late. 10-9 Flores.

Round 3

Cusulito storms out of his corner and unloads a volley of shots to the body and head. Flores remains calm as he blocks most of the shots and counters with a right to the body and straight left. Flores misses a left hook but his right doesn’t. Flores continues to stalk his foe, landing shots to the body. Cusulito backs away and is growing more frustrated by his inability to get inside. Right cross by Flores midway through the frame. Cusulito misses a wild overhand right just as Flores one of his own. Cusulito digs a few powerful hooks to the body but he’s tagged by a choppy right in return. Jab/overhand right by Cusulito is clean, but Flores walks right through it. Another right to the face by Cusulito at the bell. Very good round. 10-9 Flores.

Round 4

Cusulito lands a few jabs and then tears into Flores’ body. Flores paws with the jab and then digs to the body, but Cusulito tags him with an overhand right. Hard left uppercut to the face by Flores, followed by a right to the head. Cusulito comes back with a barrage to the body. Flores walks into a vicious right cross and his knees buckle for a moment. Flores comes right back after him with a body attack. Cusulito slows down with a minute left as he eats a right uppercut and left hook. Nice right above a lazy jab by Cusulito, who in return absorbs a few powerful rights and lefts to the body. They trade some serious leather just before the bell. Great action late. 10-9 Cusulito.

Round 5

Nice jab by Cusolito. Another. Flores digs deep to the body and then the head. Huge left hook by Cusolito misses, allowing Flores to tear into his body again. Nice right/left to the head by Flores and Cusolito is backing up. Cusolito seems to be in a shell and he allows Flores to nail him with a volley of shots tot eh head, though they are mostly blocked. Cusolito opens up and drills his foe with an overhand right. Another and Flores backs up. These two have sturdy, sturdy chins. Flores goes back to the body and it opens up another rabid flurry from both. They rip into other for the better portion of the final minute, each taking as good as the other. Close, exciting round. 10-9 Cusolito.

Round 6

Cusolito comes right out and digs to the body. Flores backs up and tags him with a right and left to the noggin. Flores forces his foe into the ropes and kills his stomach some more. Cusolito isn’t throwing anything at the moment, maybe catching his breath. Right uppercut to the chin by Flores and Cusolito seems to be withering. Flores opens up with a triple left hook as Cusolito backs off. Cusolito misses a lunging left hook as he is gassing badly at the midway point. Flores takes a quick breather, allowing Cusolito to tag him with a nice jab. They clinch and Cusolito shoves him into the ropes, which elicits a warning from Benji Esteves. Flores takes a right to the gut but he comes right back with a left and right to the dome. Flores backs his man into the corner and unloads a flurry, but it’s mostly blocked. 10-9 Flores.

Round 7

They trade hard shots early as Cusolito seems to have gotten a second wind. Cusolito goes with the jab several times early, but Flores counters with a left hook and overhand right. With his back against the corner, Cusolito eats a jab and right. Hard left hook by Flores as Cusolito comes forward to the center of the ring. Cusolito blasts his foe with a left to the body. Another. Flores backs him off with two jabs and then a right to the body. Forehead-to-forehead, they slug away with a minute left. Cusolito misses a wicked right uppercut and has to take a left hook in return. They again trade some serious leather to the head and body. Hard left hook by Flores at the bell but Cusolito somehow is unfazed by it. 10-9 Flores.

Round 8

They come out and go toe-to-toe briefly. They clinch for a moment but Flores gets in a nice right uppercut on the way out. Hard right by Cusolito but Flores comes right back with a right of his own. Cusolito backs up when he is popped by a series of jabs and then a right to the body. Left hook by the Argentinean but Flores comes right back with a flurry to the head and body. After Flores is warned for using his shoulder, Cusolito nails him with a left hook. Cusolito is bleeding from his nose with 45 seconds left as Flores lands a few jabs. Hard left hook to the body by Cusolito, which forces Flores to answer with a barrage. Cusolito obliges until the bell. 10-9 Cusolito.

Round 9

Cusolito fires off a lethal right and left to the head, but it’s as if Flores wasn’t even touched. He comes with a nice combo to Cusolito, who then storms back with shots upstairs and down. Flores lands a few jabs before going to the body again and again. Double left hook by Flores, but Cusolito walks through them as he dishes out a right to the head and a left to the body. Flores goes with the left hook and then right to the body. Cusolito backs away and Flores throws seven straight shots upstairs, but they are all blocked. Cusolito is on his bike with 50 seconds left. Big left hook by Flores, followed by a right cross with 40 seconds left. Flores leaps in and drills him with a huge left hook late but Cusolito shrugs it off. Flores pounds on him with a vicious left/right to the head at the bell. 10-9 Flores.

Round 10

Cusolito storms out of his corner and fires off a left hook but Flores absorbs it. Flores is forced to answer the attrition with a flurry of shots. They stand head-to-head and tear into each other, before taking a brief breather. Double jab/right to the head by Flores, forcing Cusolito into the ropes. Flores digs two vicious rights to the body as Cusolito backs into the ropes again. Cusolito answers with a left hook and then a right to the body. Overhand right by Cusolito is clean, but Flores comes right back. Cusolito rips off a multi-punch flurry and takes over the round, but Flores explodes out his shell and regains control. Hard straight right by Flores, but Cusolito answers with a left hook. 10-9 Cusolito.

Round 11

Flores blasts his foe with a wild overhand right to start the round, but Cusolito takes it. Cusolito rips him with a right uppercut but Flores comes back with a shot to the body and then a left hook. They miss rights to the face, but Flores bombs him with a left hook. Cusolito shrugs it off and fires back with a flurry to the body. Flores lands a few jabs and then another nasty right downstairs. Both men are exhausted, but they continue to swing for the fences. Flores is bleeding from his nose now and nails him with a combo. Cusolito is rocked by a straight right and stumbles into the corner, but he explodes with a flurry to escape. Flores lands a left hook but his follow-up left misses, but barely. Huge rally by Flores to win him the round. 10-9 Flores.

Round 12

This fight is completely up for grabs. It’s so close and either man can realistically win it with this round. Cusolito eats a right before sticking out a series of jabs. Flores gets down low and tries to slug it out. Flores goes to the body exclusively for a while but Cusolito can’t counter him. They exchange monster left hooks, but Cusolito is rocked. A big right wobbles Cusolito, who stubles back. Another right by Flores, followed by a left hook. Cusolito is in serious trouble now. A glancing right lands and as Cusolito stumbles into the corner, Esteves stops it.

Julian Williams vs. Luciano Cuello

Round 1

Williams comes right out a rapid-fire jab. Cuello is trying to come forward, but he’s not fond of getting pasted with the jab. Williams is very active early, going to the head and body. Nice right cross by Williams, followed by a flurry to the head and body. Cuello seems overwhelmed near the midway point. A wicked right cross buckles Cuello’s knees and he quickly fumbles into the ropes. He covers up but Williams is all over him. Gary Rosato is hovering as Williams clubs away and finally, Rosato has seen enough. He pulls Williams off.
