Raised to Speak His Mind, King Mo Says He Doesn’t Fit the UFC Model
Muhammed
Lawal, on “Beatdown,”
discussing whether he could be a bigger star in Bellator than in
the UFC:
“For me to become a bigger star, I’ve got to win this tournament first and then I’ve got to keep winning and defending my belt. Second, with the UFC, I don’t fit their model. Look at me. I’m not no ass kisser. Not to bash some of the fighters, but some of them boys are on mute. They can’t speak their mind. They’re scared, and that’s not me. My mama raised me to speak my mind.”
