Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight titleholder Cain Velasquez can envision a number of scenarios in which he defends his crown. Fighting American Kickboxing Academy stablemate Daniel Cormier is not one of them.
Velasquez recaptured the heavyweight championship with a one-sided unanimous decision over Junior dos Santos in the UFC 155 main event on Dec. 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The win avenged the 30-year-old’s only professional loss -- a November 2011 knockout at the hands of dos Santos.

“I wouldn’t [fight Cormier]. This is my friend, my teammate and my coach,” Velasquez told Fox Sports. “If you want to see us fight, go to AKA three days a week.”
