UFC 189: The Forum Threads

I always love to go to the forums after Ultimate Fighting Championship fights. They never let me down, and UFC 189 was no different.

There is always someone crying the fight was fixed. Chad Mendes had two weeks to get ready for Conor McGregor. McGregor took some big punches and elbows, got taken down and fought through it all to prove he really is a world class fighter. I would love to see that fight when Mendes has a full training camp, because he was able to put McGregor on his back pretty easily until he was gassed. How often have we seen Mendes gas? So, before you cry fix, just think about it. No one in the UFC is fixing fights.

The co-main event was an amazing fight with a dramatic finish that looked like Robbie Lawler might have put Rory MacDonald’s nose through his face. The entire UFC 189 pay-per-view was incredible, the best card of the year so far. There are plenty of topics blowing up in the forums, so go there and chime in and be heard.
