WEC 52 Medical Suspensions: 5 Fighters out up to 6 Months

Five of the combatants who took part in Thursday’s WEC 52 at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas have been suspended for up to six months by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The NSAC relayed the information to Sherdog via email on Friday morning.

Among those suspended for 180 days was main event victor Urijah Faber, who may be cleared early by a physician. Faber reported to the post fight press conference with an ice pack on his left shoulder but dismissed the injury as minor.
