WSOF 31 Card Finalized with Six Preliminary Bouts
Las Vegas-based MMA promotion World Series of Fighting announced
Thursday the complete lineup for WSOF
31, which takes place on June 17 from Foxwoods Resort Casino in
Mashantucket, Conn.
The WSOF 31 undercard will be anchored by a pair of heavyweight bouts, as Lorenzo Hood will make his promotional debut against Tyler King, while Juliano Coutinho will face Justin Willis.
Additionally, Tom
Marcellino will oppose Devin
Powell in a lightweight encounter, one of three 155-pound bouts
on the undercard. Saul
Almeida will square off against Bruce
Boyington while Sam Watford
will lock horns with Christian Torres. In a welterweight skirmish,
Robert
Fonseca will stand opposite Sean Lally while bantamweights
Rodrigo
Almeida and Ben
Pierre-Saint will go at it.

The WSOF 31 main card, which will be televised live on NBCSN at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, will see the promotion’s heavyweight champ Blagoy Ivanov defending his crown against Josh Copeland. Lightweight Jason High will take on Mike Ricci in the co-feature while UFC veteran John Howard will face Thiago Meller in a welterweight scrum. Finally, Luis Palomino will fight Sheymon Moraes in a featherweight affair.
