Sherdog’s Top 10: Robbie Lawler Knockouts
No. 2
Strikeforce “Henderson vs. Babalu 2”
Dec. 4, 2010 | St. Louis
Unfortunately for Lindland, his chin was not made of Olympic silver. Lawler toed the line against the Team Quest co-founder at the Scottrade Center and fought like a man on a mission. Lindland took a crouched stance and engaged his fellow southpaw on the feet, winging wild punches as he went. The speed difference was startling. Less than a minute into the first round, Lawler cracked the 2000 Olympic silver medalist with a right uppercut and followed with a chopping right hook. “The Law” nosedived into the canvas, rolled over while still conscious and ate a devastating right hand that altered his state and left his legs stiff and his toes curled. Lindland bit the dust 50 seconds into Round 1.
