Klein vs. Trizano

Featherweights

NR | Ludovit Klein (17-2, 1-0 UFC) vs. NR | Michael Trizano (8-1, 2-1 UFC)

ODDS: Klein (-250), Trizano (+210)

It will be interesting to see how Trizano looks after nearly two years away from the Octagon. “The Lone Wolf” won Season 27 of “The Ultimate Fighter” in 2018 on the back of a solid but unspectacular approach, as Trizano is more than willing to sit back at a slow pace and simply take advantage of the openings that his opponent provides. Trizano can show some urgency in moments, but it is usually when his opponents try to press the issue. That was not enough to get by in Trizano’s last bout, a submission loss to Grant Dawson. Trizano finally returns for an attempt at a rebound against Klein, who is looking to build on an impressive UFC debut. Slovakia’s Klein was a prospect to watch when he got the UFC call-up in September, but he absolutely ran over Shane Young in a shade over a minute—a statement win that was only marred by Klein’s failure to make weight. Assuming he corrects those issues on the scale, Klein has enough upside to make some noise in a deep division, and he represents a tough return draw for Trizano as a result. Klein is completely reckless in pursuing his offense, so there is a chance that Trizano can take advantage of an opening and potentially win this on the mat. However, Klein’s aggression should pay off big in this one. The pick is Klein via first-round knockout.
