One of the workhorses of the featherweight division, Elkins will welcome a new entrant to the 145-pound population and will do so in the shadows of the Gateway Arch. The 33-year-old Team Alpha Male export has rattled off five straight wins since he suffered a decision defeat to Hacran Dias in December 2014. Elkins last fought at UFC on Fox 25, where he walked away with a split verdict over Dennis Bermudez on July 22. Johnson was involved in Sherdog’s 2017 “Fight of the Year” in July, when he was victimized by former World Series of Fighting champion Justin Gaethje in a jaw-dropping showdown at “The Ultimate Fighter 25” Finale. The Hard Knocks 365 representative has lost four of his last five bouts.
