Never has the Ultimate Fighting Championship spotlight burned brighter for Giga Chikadze.

The surging Kings MMA standout will put his career-best eight-fight winning streak on the line when he tackles former Ring of Combat champion Edson Barboza in the UFC on ESPN 30 headliner this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Chikadze sports a perfect 6-0 record inside the Octagon. The Rafael Cordeiro protégé last competed at UFC on ESPN 23, where he needed just 63 seconds to bury Cub Swanson with a body kick and follow-up punches on May 1. Barboza, meanwhile, enters the cage on a modest two-fight winning streak. The American Top Team rep last appeared on May 15, when he punched out Shane Burgos in the third round of their UFC 262 encounter.
