By The Numbers: Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Jailton Almeida
If Jairzinho Rozenstruik wants to keep his place in line, he will have to do so at the expense of one of the Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight division’s hottest commodities.
“Bigi Boy” will face the surging Jailton Almeida in the UFC on ABC 4 headliner this Saturday at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rozenstruik has lost four of his past seven bouts. The American Top Team rep last appeared on Dec. 10, when he punched out Chris Daukaus a mere 23 seconds into their UFC 282 pairing. Almeida, meanwhile, enters the cage on the strength of a 13-fight winning streak. The 2021 Dana White’s Contender Series graduate last competed at UFC 283, where he put away Shamil Abdurakhimov with punches in the second round of their Jan. 21 encounter.
