By The Numbers: Yaroslav Amosov vs. Logan Storley

Reigning Bellator MMA welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov plans to pick up where he left off after outside forces kept him away from competition for the better part of two years.

In his first appearance since he put his career on hold to take up arms against Russia in his native Ukraine, Amosov will defend his crown against interim titleholder Logan Storley when their rematch headlines Bellator 291 on Saturday at 3Arena in Dublin. The Ukrainian “Dynamo” took a three-round unanimous decision from Storley in their first encounter a little more than two years ago, then went on to capture the undisputed welterweight championship with a unanimous verdict over Douglas Lima at Bellator 260 on June 11, 2021. Amosov, now 26-0, has not fought since. Storley, meanwhile, finds himself on a three-fight winning streak. He last competed at Bellator 281, where he struck interim gold with a unanimous decision over Michael Page on May 13.
