It was for the inaugural featherweight belt, and judges favored de Randamie’s crisp counterpunches over Holm’s clinch work. Fightmetric also favored the Dutch kickboxer in terms of significant strikes, giving her a slight 80-77 edge. As for Nunes, she needed only one round to beat Holm via head kick and punches.Julia Budd
Both Nunes and de Randamie spent time in Strikeforce, and that’s where they fought Julia Budd. Nunes met the Canadian powerhouse at Strikeforce - Challengers 13 and sent her to the canvass in just 14 seconds. De Randamie wasn’t as proficient against Budd, losing a decision in their Strikeforce - Challengers 16 encounter.
