By the Numbers: Donald Cerrone
The forthcoming UFC Fight Night 143 proves there’s no shortage of opponents for someone of Donald Cerrone’s caliber. After conquering Mike Perry with a first-round armbar, he will face tough up-and-comer Alexander Hernandez.

10: Fights in World Extreme Cagefighting. Before getting signed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Cerrone spent a great deal of time inside the blue cage, where he fought for the lightweight title three times.
14: Bonuses. In every fight he engages in, Cerrone never fails to

with 14: six Performance of the Night, three Fight of the Night,

6: Fights in a 12-month period, a record he shares with Sam Alvey. Cerrone is one of the busiest fighters on the entire UFC roster and is always ready for the call.
15: First-round stoppages in his entire career. There is no question of “Cowboy” being a finisher, but the fact that he’s able to end bouts early makes his efforts even more remarkable.
2: Weight divisions in which he fought in. Cerrone started his career as a lightweight and now competes at welterweight. As it turns out, he’s effective in both divisions.
3: Years have passed since his successful welterweight debut, where he submitted Alex Oliveira in the main event of UFC Fight Night 83. The end came at 2:33 of the first round.
1: String of losses in his career. Cerrone has been in the game since 2006, and he has suffered consecutive defeats only once. This was in 2017 when he was bested by Jorge Masvidal, Robbie Lawler and Darren Till.
1: Submission loss in his career. “Cowboy” has a well-rounded offensive arsenal, as evidenced by his variety of finishes, but he also has excellent submission defense. Only Benson Henderson was able to tap him.
5: Countries in which he has fought in. His talent has brought him to different parts of the world. Apart from the United States, he has competed in Canada, Japan, Poland and Singapore
