Bellator MMA hopped across the pond for the first time in almost a year to stage a card in London. The all-Euro event petered out towards the end thanks to low volume encounters and unfortunate incidents. While giving local fans plenty to cheer about, Bellator 267 featured an unusual eye poke stoppage in lower weight classes, a super speedy technical submission and the first heel hook among all women to compete in Bellator.

Hometown Cooking: By a contentious split decision, Michael Page defeated Douglas Lima atop the Bellator 267 event. As a professional, “MVP” reduced his career finish rate to 75% in victory.

Turning Over a New Page: Page now holds the fourth highest win total in organizational history as he picked up his 16th win under the Bellator banner. Only Michael Chandler and A.J. McKee (18 each) and Patricio Freire (20) have prevailed more times with the organization.

Cyborg Looms: Since starting her career with a loss, Leah McCourt has rattled off six consecutive wins including five in the Bellator cage after beating Jessica Borga on the scorecards. Recording that fifth Bellator win made her the 10th woman in company history to reach that quantity of victories.

Should Have Been a DQ: After a trio of eye pokes from Andrew Fisher, Robert Whiteford could not continue and referee Jarin Valel waved off the bout. The no contest due to eye pokes is the fourth in Bellator history, and the first for any competitors below light heavyweight – Fisher vs. Whiteford was contested at 145 pounds.

Trainer vs. Tuna, Book It: Luke Trainer is now a perfect 5-0 after crushing Yannick Bahati with an elbow. “The Gent” has finished each of his five foes inside the distance, and this was his first stoppage in the second round.

Submitted by Welshly Arms: Putting Michael Dubois to sleep in the first round with a rear-naked choke, Lewis Long advanced his career finish rate to 84%. Twelve of the Welshman’s 19 wins have come by submission.

Not So Long: The loss of consciousness officially coming at 41 seconds into the opening frame, Long’s technical submission of Dubois clocks in as the fourth-fastest in company history.

Elina Emerges: A heel hook of Petra Castkova in just over two minutes for Elina Kallionidou earned the Greek woman her first Bellator win after five tries. Kallionidou’s heel hook is the first from a female fighter in organizational history.

Granting Beatdowns: Jack Grant wrecked Nathan Jones with strikes in the first frame to make his successful Bellator debut. Grant now celebrates a sky-high stoppage rate of 94%, with 15 of 17 finish wins for the Brit coming in Round 1.

Fabulous Fab: A decision win for France’s Fabacary Diatta over Nathan Rose improved Diatta’s record to 8-0. Five of his last six outings have now gone the distance.

They Should Sell Beasty Barbies: In 2:45, Chiara Penco snagged an armbar on Katharina Delisda to get the win. “Beasty Barbie” still hoists a perfect 100% finish rate in victory, with all but one of her triumphs coming by tapout.

KK Looked OK: Khurshed Kakhorov stayed perfect at 8-0 by capturing a decision over Jair Junior. The three-round tilt marked only the second time the fighter out of Tajikistan had gone the distance.

Never Say Never Again: Coming into Bellator 267, Lima (41 fights), Dubois (17 fights) and Nathan Rose (10 fights) had never lost three matches in a row; Borga had never dropped consecutive bouts (six fights) and Castkova (seven fights) and Dalisda (seven fights) had never been submitted.
