Kamaru Usman: By The Numbers
Kamaru Usman has shed his prospect label and has begun building equity as a full-fledged contender in the Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight division.
The Hard Knocks 365 representative will put his 10-fight winning streak on the line against Norwegian brawler Emil Weber Meek in a featured UFC Fight Night 124 on Sunday at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Usman has compiled a perfect 6-0 record inside the Octagon and looked downright dominant in doing so. “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 21 winner last competed at UFC Fight Night 116 on Sept. 16, when he knocked out four-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Sergio Moraes less than three minutes into their encounter. Usman has delivered seven of his 11 professional victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission.
