The Walkmen: UFC 197 ‘Jones vs. St. Preux’
Jon Jones returned to the Ultimate Fighting Championship for the first time in more than a year, as he headlined UFC 197 on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. “Bones” opted to go with “Coming Home,” from P. Diddy and Skylar Grey, as his primary walkout track, and after he took a unanimous decision from Ovince St. Preux over five rounds, it became clear the former UFC light heavyweight champion had certainly come home.
UFC 197 was a jigsaw puzzle of many types of fights, as a few snoozers were offset by some sensational knockouts. As usual, the fighters’ entrance music was as diverse as the fights themselves.
