The Walkmen: UFC 201 ‘Lawler vs. Woodley’
To say Tyron Woodley’s knockout of Robbie Lawler was impressive would be a gross understatement.
Woodley showed no fear of Lawler’s vaunted power and instead matched him with some of his own, icing the “Ruthless” one in the first round to capture the Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight crown in the UFC 201 main event on Saturday at Philips Arena in Atlanta. The music to which “The Chosen One” walked to the Octagon could not have been more fitting.

A few metal tracks stood out during the event, along with some hip-hop classics. American Top Team’s Michael Graves chose White Zombie’s underrated “Ratfinks, Suicide Tanks, Cannibal Girls” while Damian Grabowski turned to Sabaton’s “40:1” to find inspiration; and the Notorious B.I.G. was on full display, as opponents Hector Sandoval (“Juicy”) and Wilson Reis (“Notorious Thugs”) battled in the cage and over the public address system.
