Attonito-Brown Transplanted from 'TUF 13' Finale to UFC Live 4

Rich Attonito’s welterweight debut will have to wait a bit longer, as “The Raging Bull” now meets Matt Brown (Pictured) at UFC Live 4.

The pair were originally scheduled to square off at June 4's “The Ultimate Fighter 13” Finale. While no date for UFC Live 4 has been officially announced, the event is expected to go down June 26 from a to-be-determined location. Also rumored for the event is a heavyweight confrontation between hard-hitting kickboxers Cheick Kongo and Pat Barry.

A product of American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Fla., Attonito comes off his first UFC defeat. After a stint on “The Ultimate Fighter 11,” the 33-year-old earned a second-round TKO at the season's finale against fellow cast member Jamie Yager in June.

He followed that victory with another trip to the winner's circle, outpointing Renzo Gracie pupil Rafael Natal at UFC Fight Night 22 in September. Most recently, Attonito was defeated by Dave Branch at the “TUF 12” finale Dec. 4.

Brown has lost three straight fights in the Octagon. Following his most recent defeat, the AMC Pankration representative was falsely rumored to be cut from the promotion. After starting his UFC career a hot 4-1, the “TUF 7” alum started his skid at UFC 111 one year ago. Following his rear-naked choke defeat at the hands of Ricardo Almeida, “The Immortal” was submitted twice more in 2010, tapping out to a Chris Lytle armbar in July and a Brian Foster guillotine in November.
