Bellator’s Jordan Parsons Has Leg Partially Amputated Following Hit-and-Run Accident
Featherweight prospect Jordan Parsons remains in a Florda hospital today after being seriously injured in a car accident, according to a report from MMAFighting.com.
Parsons, 25, was reportedly the victim of a hit-and-run accident in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to MMAFighting.com, the fighter’s lower right leg had to be amputated following the incident.

A native of North Dakota who wrestled during his high school years in Michigan, Parsons currently trains with the well-known Blackzilians team at Jaco Hybrid Training Center in Boca Raton, Florida. Parsons began his amateur career in 2008 at age 17 and did not taste defeat until his eighth professional bout in 2012.
Parsons spent his last three fights competing for Bellator MMA, finishing his first two opponents before dropping a split decision to Bubba Jenkins in November. Prior to Sunday’s accident, he was slated to face Adam Piccolotti at this month’s Bellator 154.
