A women’s bantamweight clash between former world boxing champion Holly Holm and “The Ultimate Fighter 18” alum Raquel Pennington has been rescheduled for UFC 184.
The bout was initially scheduled to take place at UFC 181, but Holm was forced to withdraw after suffering a neck injury in training. Sherdog.com confirmed with Mike Winkeljohn, Holm’s striking coach, that the fighter has been medically cleared and the date with Pennington is official. MMAJunkie.com initially reported the matchup.

Holm, who signed with the UFC this summer, is 7-0 as a professional mixed martial artist. In her last outing, the Jackson-Wink MMA product scored a fifth-round TKO of Juliana Werner at Legacy Fighting Championship 30 to capture the promotion’s 135-pound title.
Pennington faced Ashlee Evans-Smith instead of Holm at UFC 181, earning a victory via bulldog choke 4:59 into the first round on Dec. 6.
