LFA 96 Weigh-in Results: Title Bout Set; 1 Fighter Misses Weight

The final Legacy Fighting Alliance event of the year is upon us. Maycon Mendonca will face Batsumberel Dagvadorj for the promotion's vacant welterweight title in the main event of LFA 96. The seven-fight card is now official after the weigh-ins took place and there wasn't much drama as only Mitzi Merry missed weight.

Brazil's Mendonca sports a 10-4 record and struggled early on in his LFA career. Despite suffering three straight defeats, including knockouts to Christian Aguilera and Matthew Frincu, Mendonca never lost his fighting spirit. His full potential is finally coming out as he's bounced back with a four-fight win streak that includes a knockout of Devin Smyth and a triangle choke submission victory over Kassius Kayne. Mendonca had no issue making weight and came in at 169.8 pounds.

While Mendonca has faced considerable adversity in his career, the same can't be said for Dagvadorj (6-0, 1 NC). The undefeated fighter has finished all of his opponents except Joaquin Lopez, and was most recently seen in Bellator MMA submitting James Terry with a bulldog choke. "The Mongolian Falcon" will look to make his country proud as he looks to capture LFA gold. Dagvadorj officially stepped on the scales at 168.6 pounds.

The LFA 96 main card will air live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 9 p.m. ET.
