Fans watching UFC Fight Night 160 will be treated to an important women’s bantamweight bout, as Macy Chiasson is set to clash with Lina Lansberg on Sept. 28. The Ultimate Fighting Championship took to its social media accounts to announce the fight on Friday morning.
Chiasson (5-0) will put her spotless record on the line in what seems to be the toughest fight of her career thus far. “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 28 winner has finished all but one of her matches inside the distance. After making her successful debut in the UFC by crushing Gina Mazany in the opening stanza of their encounter at UFC 235, she smashed Sarah Moras at UFC Fight Night 151.
Lansberg (9-4) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Tonya Evinger at UFC Fight Night 153. The Cage Warriors Fighting Championship veteran is 3-3 in her stint under the UFC banner, with noteworthy victories over Lucie Pudilova and Mazany.
UFC Fight Night 160, also known as UFC on ESPN+ 18, will go down at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. The only other fight confirmed at the moment is the welterweight clash between SBG Ireland representative Gunnar Nelson and UFC veteran Thiago Alves.
