For a third time, the UFC will try to rebook the flyweight bout between Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno.

Borg and Moreno were supposed to square off at UFC 223 last weekend, but Borg suffered corneal abrasions after getting glass in his eye due Conor McGregor’s attack on the bus transporting the fighters for media day at the Barclays Center. Prior to that, they were slated to meet at UFC Fight Night in Austin this past February, but Moreno pulled out after suffering a right elbow injury.
Borg had won five of his six Octagon appearances before falling victim to Demetrious Johnson’s 2017 “Submission of the Year” candidate in a flyweight title bout at UFC 216 last October. Moreno, meanwhile, saw an 11-bout winning streak come to an end at the hands of Sergio Pettis in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 117 last August.
