Fresh off the announcement that the Ultimate Fighting Championship plans to open a massive UFC Performance Institute in China, the promotion will be planting its flag in the capital city of Beijing for the first time.
Curtis Blaydes hit the scales at 260 pounds, as he prepares to face Francis Ngannou (254) in a rematch in the UFC Fight Night 141 main event this Saturday at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China. With their weights nearly equal to their first meeting, Blaydes weighed one pound lighter and Ngannou two pounds heavier than before. Co-headlining the card will be a heavyweight contest between former UFC heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem (247) and the undefeated Sergey Pavlovich (257), who both made weight without issue at Thursday’s weigh-ins.

One fighter did come in heavy: heavyweight-turned-light heavyweight Rashad Coulter (208), who received a 20 percent fine.
