The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Kansas City, Missouri, after two years for a 14-fight card that is now official after the UFC Kansas City weigh-ins took place.

Sitting atop the event is a headlining fight between Ian Garry and Carlos Prates. Both welterweight contenders successfully made weight for their five-round main event. Only one fighter missed weight as Giga Chikadze came in at 147 pounds, a full pound over the featherweight limit, for his fight against David Onama. As a result, he'll be fined 20% of his purse.

Garry (15-1) enters his first UFC main event coming off his first-ever career defeat to Shavkat Rakhmonov. "The Future" will be looking to show that he's still a top contender despite the loss and was previously undefeated inside the promotion, having put together eight straight wins. At just 27, the Irish fighter is one of the top prospects at 170. Garry stepped on the scale at 171 pounds.

Meanwhile, Prates (21-6) is riding an impressive four-fight win streak inside the UFC that includes knockouts over Neil Magny and Jingliang Li. "The Nightmare" is 4-0 inside the promotion and has been living up to his nickname. The Fighting Nerds product will look to notch the biggest win of his career on Saturday and came in looking prepared as he weighed 171 pounds on the dot.

UFC Kansas City's main card will air on ESPN+ and ESPN2 starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Saturday. Prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
