UFC on Fox 19 Salaries: Rashad Evans Earns Top Payout with $150,000 in Defeat

Rashad Evans was knocked out by Glover Teixeira in less than two minutes on Saturday night in Tampa, Fla., but the former UFC light heavyweight champion still has something to smile about.

According to disclosed payouts from the Florida State Boxing Commission following UFC on Fox 19, Evans was the evening's leading earner, taking home $150,000 in defeat. Teixeira earned a reported $120,000, including a $60,000 win bonus.

Other notable earners from the UFC on Fox 19 bill include Rose Namajunas, whose unanimous decision win over Tecia Torres earned her $86,000. Elsewhere, “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 15 winner Michael Chiesa netted $66,000 for his second-round rear-naked choke win over Beneil Dariush, while TUF 14 bantamweight winner John Dodson's quick blitz of Manny Gamburyan got him a $70,000 purse.
