The coronavirus isn’t going to prevent Tony Ferguson from preparing for his lightweight championship showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Ferguson is supposed to face Nurmagomedov in the UFC 249 headliner on April 18. Although the promotion has canceled its next three events, UFC president Dana White has been adamant that the 155-pound title bout will proceed as scheduled, even if the venue most move from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., to a different location.
Ferguson is currently on a 12-bout winning streak in the UFC. He is coming off a second-round TKO of Donald Cerrone at UFC 238 this past June.
