Beatdown: Yves Edwards

TJ De Santis and Jeff Sherwood returned to The Sherdog Radio Network Monday for another edition of "Beatdown." Joining them was UFC lightweight contender Yves Edwards.

"The Thug-Jitsu Master" Yves Edwards dispatched Jeremy Stephens Saturday night by knockout in Seattle. Part of the UFC on Fox 5 card, Edwards showed while at 36 years of age, he is not a fighter to be written off as "past his prime." The American Top Team product joined the program to talk about his impressive victory, where the win puts him in the lightweight division, and reflects a little bit on his career that spans 61 fights.

De Santis and Sherwood also break down the rest of the card that featured an impress title defense by UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson. TJ and Jeff also talk about the Tachi Palace Fights promotion canceling their February 21st card, and possibly shutting down for good.
