The heavyweights didn't disappoint on the UFC Fight Night 156 preliminary card. Ciryl Gane and Raphael Pessoa met inside the Octagon, and Gane didn't let things get outside of the first round. Pessoa tried to get the fight to the ground, but it was Gane who ended up on top in a very favorable position.
Gane locked in the arm-triangle choke and forced the tap.
As for Pessoa, he suffered the first defeat of his professional career with the submission.
