Elvin Espinoza Says PFL Finish Was the 'Most Exciting Thing' He Has Done So Far
Elvin Espinoza has already competed twice under the Professional Fighters League banner and is ready for his third assignment.
Espinoza (7-0, 2-0 PFL) counts the days before his upcoming 155-pound clash with Damir Ferhatbegovic in Week 4 of the PFL Challenger Series. “The Prodigy” proudly represents his Nicaraguan origins inside the SmartCage, where he landed a fantastic first-round technical submission victory over Hopeton Stewart in August 2021. While speaking with Sherdog, Espinoza confessed that he cherishes that memory very much, going so far as to state that it is the most memorable finish of his career. One year later, Espinoza upended Corey Jackson in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. Now, he believes the time is right for him to land a contract and a place in the 2023 PFL Regular Season.
“It was a great night, man. It was great, it was fun. The first time under the big show. It was the most exciting thing I’ve ever done so far. Then the next one was at Madison. It's great. I love the promotion. They treat everybody well. Everybody's kind, they're very on point with everything they do. It's been great so far.”
