James Greene & Holly Nelson Discuss Their Vision for the New Total Warrior Combat
After acquiring Total Warrior Combat earlier this year, James Greene and Holly Nelson aim to become the new power couple in the mixed martial arts world. Greene is a Navy veteran turned coach and then entrepreneur. Nelson is a behavioral scientist who is shedding some light on a topic that is often overlooked in combat sports: mental health. Together, they will give TWC a new identity starting with TWC 101: Hostile Takeover; the upcoming event will go down at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, on June 4.
The promoters also discussed their initiative to offer mental health assistance to fighters, plans for an intriguing mixture of digital and in-person experiences. TWC 101: Hostile Takeover is headlined by an interim 155-pound championship affair between Ultimate Fighting Championship vets Justin Jaynes and Julian Lane.
