Neiman Gracie Discusses Goiti Yamauchi Fight at Bellator 284, Unfinished Business with Logan Storley

Neiman Gracie has some unfinished business with current Bellator MMA interim 170-pound champion Logan Storley. Gracie (11-3, 9-3 Bellator) made Bellator history when he took on “Storm” in the first five-round, non-title headliner in promotional history at Bellator 274, where he lost a unanimous decision. In hindsight, their clash was a title eliminator, as “Storm” was offered an interim title fight at Bellator 281 after lineal 170-pound champion Yaroslav Amosov pulled out of his scheduled bout with Michael Page. While Gracie doesn’t overlook his next assignment at Bellator 284, where he will meet Goiti Yamauchi, the Brazilian fighter says he would like to avenge his defeat at the hands of Storley. The fact that “Storm” is now a titleholder increases his motivation.

“I didn’t even think about it, to tell the truth, about history. It was a great fight, a great competitive fight. I was having too much fun on the striking, so I let the fight stay there for too long. I think if we fight again, I'll definitely look to grapple more with him and try to tire him out and finish him on the ground. I am pursuing a rematch with whoever beats me, I try to fight them again. I hope to fight [Storley] again. First, I have some business to take care of against Mr. Yamauchi. I was very happy that [Storley] won the belt and I can’t wait to meet him again in the cage. ”
