Boxing: June 25 Card at Barclays Center Gets Seven Undercard Bouts
The rescheduled welterweight championship between Keith Thurman and
Shawn Porter alone is enough to get boxing fans antsy with
anticipation. Toss in the fact the Showtime Championship Boxing on
CBS event will kick off its telecast with the sensational
featherweight championship bout between titlist Jesus Cuellar and
former three-division champ Abner Mares, and the makings of a
legendary night are in play.
But the promoters of the colossal fight card at Barclays Center in Brooklyn made the event even more powerful with a stacked undercard.
