More than five years after their initial Ultimate Fighting Championship encounter resulted in a split decision for Rivera, the two bantamweight contenders will meet for a second time in a UFC Fight Night 186 showcase this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Munhoz finds himself on the rebound following consecutive defeats to Aljamain Sterling and Frankie Edgar. Rivera, meanwhile, last appeared at UFC on ESPN 13, where he snapped his own two-fight losing streak with a unanimous decision over Cody Stamann on July 15.

5: Post-fight bonuses banked by Munhoz in his 14 appearances under the UFC banner. The former Resurrection Fighting Alliance champion has been awarded “Performance of the Night” on three occasions and “Fight of the Night” twice, resulting in $250,000 of additional income.
