By The Numbers: Reinier de Ridder vs. Anatoliy Malykhin
Undefeated two-division One Championship titleholder Reinier de Ridder by now must consider himself a marked man.
“The Dutch Knight” will defend his light heavyweight crown against the unbeaten Anatoliy Malykhin in the ONE on Prime Video 5 headliner on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines. De Ridder carries a perfect 16-0 record into the cage. He last appeared at ONE 159, where he choked Vitaly Bigdash unconscious with an inverted triangle and retained his middleweight belt in the first round of their July 22 confrontation. Malykhin, meanwhile, has won all 10 of his bouts as a pro. He last fought on Feb. 11, when punched out Kirill Grishenko and claimed the interim One Championship heavyweight title in the second round of their ONE “Bad Blood” main event.
