By The Numbers: Reinier de Ridder vs. Vitaly Bigdash



Reinier de Ridder has enjoyed relatively smooth sailing in One Championship, where he currently reigns over two divisions.

The Dutch grappler will defend his undisputed middleweight crown against former champion Vitaly Bigdash in the One 159 main event on July 22 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. De Ridder carries a perfect 15-0 record into the cage. He last competed on Feb. 25, when he submitted Kiamrian Abbasov with an arm-triangle choke in the third round of their One “Full Circle” pairing. Bigdash, meanwhile, greets the champion with the wind of a three-fight winning streak at his back. He has not tasted defeat in more than four years.

As de Ridder and Bigdash move ever closer to their confrontation at 205 pounds, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

31: Years of age for de Ridder, who was born on Sept. 7, 1990 in Breda, Netherlands.
