BetUS.com lists Spivac as a -160 favorite for the main event, with Tybura as the +130 underdog. In the co-headliner, Gutierrez is favored at -600, with Le coming back at +425.
Tybura posted a unanimous decision over Spivac in 2020, touching off a stretch in which he has won eight of 10 bouts. The former M-1 Global champion last competed at UFC Fight Night 234, where he put Tai Tuivasa to sleep with a rear-naked choke a little more than four minutes into their March 16 pairing. It was the 11th first-round finish of Tybura’s 33-fight career. Spivac, meanwhile, has recorded three victories across his past four outings but enters the cage on the rebound, having succumbed to second-round punches from Ciryl Gane at UFC 226 in September. The 29-year-old Moldovan has never suffered back-to-back defeats as a professional.
UFC on ESPN 61 also features a welterweight showcase pairing Danny Barlow (-380) with Nikolay Veretennikov (+280), a featherweight tilt pitting Jose Mariscal (-235) against Damon Jackson (+195), a women’s bantamweight affair matching Yana Santos (-145) with Chelsea Chandler (+115) and a bantamweight scrap slotting Charalampos Grigoriou (-250) opposite Toshiomi Kazama (+200). Women’s bantamweights highlight the undercard, where Karol Rosa (-200) takes on Pannie Kianzad (+165) in the featured prelim at 135 pounds.
