UFC 284 Medical Suspensions: Yair Rodriguez, Josh Emmett Facing 6 Months
Both athletes from the interim featherweight title bout at UFC 284 could be sidelined for a significant period of time.
According to medical suspensions released by the Combat Sports Commission of Western Australia, Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett are facing potential 180-terms following their 145-pound clash in the UFC 284 co-main event on Feb. 11. Those suspensions can be reduced with physician clearance. Rodriguez defeated Emmett via second-round submission to capture the interim featherweight championship.

Three other competitors from UFC 284 are facing potential six-month terms: Tyson Pedro, Jamie Mullarkey and Blake Bilder. The specific nature of each suspension was not revealed.
