MIGUEL FLORES: ONE WIN AWAY FROM TITLE SHOT

(PRESS RELEASE) -- When he was fourteen years old, Miguel Flores was watching television with his mother and MMA came on. He looked at her and said that one day he was going to do that, and on March 28, Flores will find himself in the biggest fight of his career in a number one contender match for V3Fights. To this day, his mother is his biggest fan.

Flores is currently 4-1 and fights out of UFC Cordova Gym. He made his V3 debut back in January and the Legion witnessed quite possibly the best comeback in the promotion’s history. Early in the first round, Flores got caught with a head kick that nearly knocked him out. He was able to fight through it and pull off a unanimous decision victory.

Standing in his way on March 28 is crafty V3 veteran, Rudy McGlothlin. When asked about his opponent and this opportunity, here is what Flores had to say:

“Rudy is a VERY solid fighter. I have tons of respect for him, his brothers, and his father. I know this is going to be my toughest fight. I’m really going to have to push myself for this one! He has very good stand up, clinch, and wrestling. I’m not saying he has an advantage over me nor I over him. Chan (Wasion) matched this fight up very well and it will definitely be exciting. I am going to sharpen my skills the best I can, stay prayered up, and focused to put on a show.”
