Miesha Tate Discusses the UFC's New Strawweight Divison and Sara McMann on 'Inside MMA'

(PRESS RELEASE) -- LOS ANGELES – With her anticipated fight versus Sara McMann on the horizon at UFC 183, women’s bantamweight fighter Miesha Tate stopped by AXS TV’s INSIDE MMA for an interview with hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten. During the interview, Tate discussed her matchup with McMann, stating she “would love for [it] to be a stand-up fight,” and shared her thoughts on the UFC’s addition of the women’s strawweight division as well as some of the new fighters from “The Ultimate Fighter 20.”

Then, UFC 183 headliner Nick Diaz joined INSIDE MMA, where he discussed training practices for his upcoming bout with former middleweight champion Anderson Silva, which range from running triathlons to sparring with kickboxing champions and more. Watch Diaz’s interview here:

155 pound fight: Marco Pique (61-38) defeats Michael Corley (18-13) via TKO in the third round.

135 pound fight: Angel Huerta (2-0) defeats Miguel Torres (0-1) via decision (unanimous 30-25, 30-25, 30-25).

135 pound fight: Valentina Shevchenko (55-1) defeats Lindsay Haycraft (26-14) via decision (Unanimous 30-26, 30-26, 30-26).

170 pound fight: Alex Moreno (1-0) defeats Lucas Pimenta (0-1) via TKO (broken arm) at 1:42 minutes in the first round.

155 pound fight: Justin Reiswerg (1-0) defeats Will Morris (0-1) via decision (unanimous 30-27, 30-26, 30-25).
