THE NORTH AMERICAN ALLIED FIGHT SERIES (NAAFS) RETURNS TO COLUMBUS ON NOVEMBER 10TH for CAGED FURY 20.

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Ohio’s very best MMA promotion will return to
Columbus where the Greater Columbus Convention Center will play
host of Caged Fury 20. Fans will be treated to an outstanding
evening of Amateur and Professional MMA fights that will feature a
Middleweight bout between Travis
Clark (12-1) and Nick Kraus
(13-2). Also, Bellator Veteran and former NAAFS Champion Dan Spohn
(15-7) taking on long time MMA journeyman, Columbus native and UFC
veteran Sean Salmon
(18-18). Other NAAFS professional fighters that will be in action
including Antonio
Castillo Jr. and the night will mark the re-emergence of the
ultra-popular Columbus fighter, Roc
Castricone!
Another, more intriguing story taking place will be the first fight of a Columbus area Pastor, David Bever Jr., who has adopted a mission known as “My Fight HELPS their Fight”, will enter the NAAFS cage for his first fight. Bever Jr. who is the Campus Pastor at the Cyprus Wesleyan Church in Dublin has decided to raise money for children in orphanages and has chosen to do so by way of fighting. He’ll be taking on an opponent yet to be named and 100% of the proceeds from his ticket sales will go to support orphanages.
The remainder of the NAAFS Amateur finals will be determined as
heavyweights Jeff Hughes
(10-2) and Jordan
Beverly (5-1) fight as will light heavyweights Wayne Lanum
(7-0) and 2011 Champion Tommy
DeRoia (7-0). Middleweights Stephan Schlater (4-0) and Mike
Schimek (6-1) will battle to see who faces the winner of the
October 20th Middleweight bout (Halkides vs Depiero) at Caged
Vengeance 12.
The NAAFS has been treating fans in Ohio to the best MMA action around since 2005 and will be bringing a talent laced fight card to town on November 10th. The doors will open to the public at 5:00pm and the first fight will begin at 6:00pm.
