Boxing: PBC on Bounce Gets Galarza vs. Molnar Jan. 31
Premier Boxing Champions announced early Wednesday that the next
edition of PBC on Bounce will feature an intriguing matchup between
featherweights Dennis Galarza and Bence Molnar on Jan. 31. The
event will take place at the Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee in
Immokalee, Fla.
The telecast is slated to be headlined by a 10-round battle between unbeaten contender Erickson Lubin and Jose de Jesus Macias. Also on the card will be welterweight Alex De Jesus taking on Joseph Elegele in an eight-rounder. Bounce will broadcast the main card live starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The network will simultaneously stream the action live on BounceTV.com.
Galarza (11-1, 8 KOs) has stopped his last four foes and has
greatly improved since turning pro in 2013. The last time the
Brooklynite was in action he took out veteran Juan Ramon Solis in
the eighth. Hungary’s Molnar (14-6, 7 KOs) went 4-6 in 2016, but
he’s coming into the bout on a two-fight winning streak.
The undercard will feature a pair of welterweight skirmishes: David Grayton will fight Daniel Souza Santos while Harold Calderon will square off against Gilbert Venegas. Both contests will be scheduled for eight rounds.
The rest of the undercard will see Dyah Davis fighting Edgar Perez in a six-round light heavyweight encounter; Farid Aghyey till tackle Hakeem Atkinson in a middleweight four-rounder; Ray Lampking will tango with Antoine Knight in a six-round lightweight tilt; and Jesus Lule will face off against Jamar Saunders in a six-round featherweight duel.
